NMC expects cold weather in most provinces

SANAA, Dec. 21 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center expected on Tuesday cold weather during night and early morning in most provinces during the next 24 hours.

The center affirmed that the weather will be cold to very cold during night and early morning on parts of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda provinces and in the northern parts of Ibb, Dhalea and Lahj provinces, in addition to the western highlands in Jawf and Marib.

The center called on the citizens especially elderly people, children, the sick, night and early morning workers, and travelers to take precautions to prevent severe cold shock.

The center also called on farmers, herders, and beekeepers to protect agricultural crops, livestock and beekeeping from cold effects.
