Deteriorating living conditions spark popular portests in Taiz

TAIZ, Dec. 20 (YPA) – Hundreds of angry demonstrators went out the streets of the city of al-Wazaih of Taiz to protest against the deteriorating living conditions due to the collapse of the Yemeni riyal price against foreign currencies.

In conjunction with the popular uprising, dozens of shop owners closed their doors to citizens in protest against the worsening economic situation.

The merchants in the district preventing from opening the shops until the stability of food prices, which are witnessing a significant increase, doubling the suffering of the citizens.
