Fierce clashes erupt between Amaliqa forces, Tariq Saleh troops in Mocha

TAIZ, Dec. 18 (YPA) – Fierce clashes erupted on Saturday between southern gunmen from Amaliqa brigades and Tariq Saleh forces in west of Taiz province, informed sources said.

The sources indicated that the clashes broke out because of the confiscation of a recruit’s weapon from Amaliqa forces when he pledged his weapon to qat sellers in Mocha city.

The confrontations resulted in death of a doctor, injuring one of Amaliqa elements, arresting four militants from Tariq Saleh troops and took them to unknown destination, the sources affirmed.

According to the sources, the military tensions still continuous between Amaliqa brigades forces and Tariq Saleh troops in the middle of Mocha city.
