NCM expects low temperatures to continue within coming 24 hours

SANAA, Dec. 16 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected cold weather to continue with low temperatures during the next 24 hours.

The center, in its weather bulletin, the weather would continue to be very cold in parts of the provincs of Saada and Amran. , Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Ibb, Dhalea Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Marib and Jawf governorates, and relatively cold over the desert areas.

It called on the citizens, especially farmers, herders of livestock, beekeepers and poultry, to take the necessary precautions to prevent the cold wave.

The center stated that the lowest temperatures recorded in some weather monitoring stations are in Amran: 1.2, Dhamar: 1.7, Sanaa: 3.4, Ibb: 6.0,Saada: 7.3, Mahweet: 8.5, Hajjah: 9.0, Ataq: 8.8, Sayun 10.1.
