MARIB, Dec. 12 (YPA) – The Yemeni army has continued to advance militarily towards Marib city in the battles breaking out in the southern suburbs of the province.
According to tribal sources in the province, the army forces fought fierce confrontations against the Saudi-led coalition and their tools, during which the army was able to advance towards the strategic area of “Al-Akd” south of “Kara”, the stronghold “of the Saudi-backed governor of Marib, Sultan Al-Arada.
Dozens of both sides were killed and wounded, including one of the coalition’s military leaders, Talib bin Mubarak Al-Hatish Al-Jami’I, during the confrontations.
