Shura Council speaker meets with Hamas representative

SANAA, Nov. 23 (YPA) – Speaker of Shura Council, Mohammed Hussein Al-Aidarous, met on Tuesday with the Acting Representative of Hamas in Yemen Moaz Abu Shamala.

During the meeting, Al-Aidarous reviewed the developments on the Palestinian arena, and the Zionist violations against the Palestinian people, which have been recently embodied in Britain’s project to designate the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” as a terrorist organization.

The speaker affirmed that the Yemeni people stands with the Palestinian people in demanding its rights and confronting Zionist arrogance, its schemes and projects targeting the Palestinian cause, its people.

Meanwhile, Abu Shamala affirmed that Britain’s designation against Hamas aims to bring the Palestinian people to their knees and its legitimate resistance to restore the usurped Palestinian right.

He praised the positions of the Yemeni people and the government authorities in support of the Palestinian cause in its various historical stages.
