America evacuates 270 vehicles from Syrian territory to northern Iraq

DAMASCUS, Nov. 07 (YPA) – The US forces in Syria evacuated a convoy of 270 vehicles from their base at Kharab Al-Jir Military Airport in the Syrian countryside of Al-Hasakah, and headed to northern Iraq through the illegal Al-Waleed crossing.

It is one of the largest evacuation operations carried out by America for its military vehicles in recent years.

Local sources told ‘SANA’ that the convoy, which is consisting of 150 refrigerator trucks and 120 covered flatbed carriers carrying tanks of the American occupation, left after midnight yesterday, Saturday, and this morning from Kharab Al-Jir Military Airport.

The convoy was accompanied by armored vehicles for protections, in addition to four-wheel drive vehicles equipped with machine guns belonging to the SDF militia, heading to northern Iraq through the illegal Al-Waleed crossing, the sources added.
