SANAA, Nov. 03 (YPA) – Kuwait called on its nationals residing Ethiopian soil to leave the country immediately.
The Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Qabas, quoted a statement issued by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs, called on its citizens who are in Ethiopia to leave and contact the Kuwaiti Embassy in Addis Ababa to register their names and data.
Earlier, the United States of America warned its citizens against traveling to Ethiopia due to due to armed conflict, crime and the possibility of kidnappings and terrorist operations in the country’s border areas.
This came in the wake of the Ethiopian government’s declaration of a state of emergency in the country, on Tuesday, as it completely imposed earlier restrictions on Internet services, which disrupted the ability of the US Embassy in Addis Ababa to communicate with Americans there, according to the statement.
