Al-Houthi: Closing Yemeni Embassy in Lebanon is better than accepting ambassador who does not represent Yemen

SANAA, Nov. 03 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, said on Wednesday that closing the Yemeni embassy in Lebanon is better than accepting “a mercenary ambassador, who certainly does not represent the Republic of Yemen.”

This came in a tweet by Al-Houthi addressed to the Lebanese, after the Hadi’s government loyal to Saudi-led war coalition summoned its ambassador to Lebanon to consult on the statements of Information Minister George Kordahi.

Al-Houthi added in another tweet, saying “when Saudi foreign policy recovers from exploratory dialogues, many problems will be solved in Lebanon and elsewhere, and it will know the importance of peace and realism for its neighbors and Arab surroundings, and recognize the absurdity of its wars and diplomatic crises.”
