65 ISIS militants surrender in Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan

KABUL, Nov. 01 (YPA) – At least 65 militants of “ISIS” organization have surrendered to the Afghan authorities, Governor of Nangarhar province, eastern Afghanistan, announced on Monday.

The governor of Nangarhar said in a statement that the ISIS militants who surrendered to the authorities in the province expressed their remorse for what they had previously committed.

He added that the ISIS militants surrendered in the areas of “Kot” and “Bati Kot” after the mediation of local tribal elders.

According to the Nangarhar governor administration, the militants were pardoned, but “on condition” that they do not violate public order.
