Fierce clashes erupt among coalition militants in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 24 (YPA) – Fierce clashes erupted on Sunday armed groups loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Aden city, south of Yemen, sources said.

The sources explained the clashes erupted in the vicinity of the Aban mosque, in the center of Crater area, between the “Security Belt” militia, affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias and armed group.

Various types of weapons were used in the clashes.

This comes after Crater area witnessed violent confrontations in last September, between the STC militia and the elements of the leader Imam Al-Nubi, the former leader of the militia, funded by the Saudi ambassador, Mohammed Al Jaber, which left 80 dead and wounded.
