2 killed in shootout over family dispute in Lahj

LAHJ, June 11 (YPA) – Two members of a family were killed in a shootout over a family dispute in Lahj province, police sources said on Monday.

The shootout erupted on Sunday night between two families in al-Musaymeer district, killing Tareq al-Hawshabi and his sister.

The gunfight drew United Arab Emirates-backed militias to intervene to force stop of the fight, arrest the murderer and chase the other gunmen.

Southern provinces have been witnessing security chaos, spread of crimes and assassinations since the UAE occupation forces and their backed militias stormed and took over the south.
