Former US President Donald Trump plans to launch his own social media platform

SANAA, Oct. 21 (YPA) – Former US president Donald Trump, announced Thursday the upcoming launch of a new social media platform, similar to Twitter and Facebook.

At dawn Thursday, The Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) released a new statement confirming that Trump had announced the launch of the Trump Social Network.

The group has reported that it will become a listed company or group as an alternative to liberal media, with a social network called Truth Social.
“I created TRUTH Social and TMTG to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech,” Trump was quoted as saying in the statement.

Trump added: “We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American President has been silenced. “This is unacceptable. I am excited to send out my first TRUTH on TRUTH Social very soon.”

Donald Trump has indicated that the new social media platform will be launched experimentally next month and will be available to the public in the first quarter of next year.
