Public Health Office in Capital Sanaa provides free medical check-up to citizens

SANAA, Oct. 15 (YPA) – Public Health and Population Office at the capital Sanaa said it would provide free medical check-up and a 30 percent reduction in fees for other services in government hospitals and health facilities on the occasion of the anniversary of the Muhammed Prophet’s birthday.

Director General of the Public Health and Population Office at the capital Sanaa Dr. Mutahar al-Marwani, told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that government hospitals and health facilities will continue to provide these free  services until the first 15th of Rabia al awal  to celebrate the birthday of the Great Prophet.

Government medical complexes and centers will provide free natural delivery services for six days from 9 to 15 February, he added.

Dr. Al-Marwani pointed out that hospitals and private health centers have been generalized to provide reductions of at least 20 percent on the occasion of the prophet’s birthday.
