President Al-Mashat confirms Sanaa’s readiness for comprehensive peace

SANAA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Wednesday confirmed Sanaa’s readiness for a comprehensive and lasting peace through entering into mutual guarantees and commitments to address concerns and promote legitimate interests of all parties.

In his televised speech this evening on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the October 14 Revolution, President Al-Mashat called on the opponents to take a faithful and practical initiative to end the aggression, siege and occupation, address the effects and repercussions of this unjust war, and respect the sovereignty and independence of Yemen.

President Al-Mashat strongly warned of the danger of continuing the aggression and siege on Yemen, and of the consequences of ignoring these sincere calls and jumping on reality and wasting peace opportunities.
