Large fire breaks out inside oil facilities in Al-Zahrani area of Lebanon

BEIRUT, Oct. 11 (YPA) –  Lebanese media reported that a large fire broke out inside the oil installations in and near the Zahrani area, pointing out that a loud sound followed this fire.

The Lebanese Al-Jadeed channel published a video clip showing scenes from this fire.

Al-Jadeed indicated that “the Lebanese army is working to evacuate the vicinity of the oil installations in Al-Zahrani after the outbreak of the fire,” pointing out that there is a fear of the spread of fire and the occurrence of an explosion as a result of this large fire in the vicinity of the oil installations.

The “Traffic Control” announced that traffic on the Al-Zahrani Highway was cut off in both directions due to the outbreak of the fire in Mahalla, and traffic was diverted to the marine road.
