Coalition creates defense system near Marib gov’t complex

MARIB, Oct. 09 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces established on Saturday a new defensive arrangement near the government complex inside the city of Marib.

The move came following the rapid victories achieved by the National Salvation Government forces, in the battles taking place south of the city.

According to local sources, the coalition forces began building barricades and digging trenches south of the government complex, hours after several areas fell into the hands of Sanaa forces during the past hours in Jouba district, the southern gateway to the city.

The coalition forces also built barricades in the “Al-Falaj” area between Al-Jouba district and the city of Marib.
