Former Palestinian prisoner Hussein Masalmah dies in Ramalah hospital

SANAA, Sept. 23 (YPA) -Hussein Masalmah, a Palestinian political prisoner in Israeli jails for 18 years, has just passed away in a hospital.

The Israeli occupation had released him few months ago when his health condition became hopeless due to Israeli medical neglect.

Hussein died today on a hospital bed after 18 years in brutal Israeli prisons and never got to live real freedom.

The Prisoner’s Club held the Israeli  occupation responsible for the death of Masalmah . The Zionist carried out the crime of medical negligence, which has affected and continues to affect hundreds of prisoners inside the occupation jails .

Current data on sick prisoners in occupation jails  were serious, with new cases of tumors recorded to varying degrees, particularly among prisoners who had spent more than 20 years.

Masalmah was arrested in 2002 and sentenced to 20 years in prison, of which he spent nearly 19 years.
