SHABAWH, Sept. 22 (YPA) – The army and the popular committees, with the support Bayhan tribes, have taken control over the 19th Infantry Brigade camp, which is belonging to Saudi-led coalition in Shabwa, during past few hours.
According to local sources, army forces and popular committees tightened their grip on the “19th Brigade” camp in Bayhan, liberating large areas of the directorate and the Directorate of Ain Shabwa, after fierce battles with coalition militants.
The sources confirmed that the army strikes destroyed many coalition military mechanisms in addition to leaving number of deaths and injuries among them, and forced others to flee towards the city of Ataq, the capital of Shabwah province.
Other sources reported that the army, backed by the Harib tribes, fought fierce battles with coalition militants in the Harib front, during which they were able to liberate large parts of the area.
