UN special envoy for Yemen arrives in Oman

MUSCAT, Sept. 19 (YPA) – Omani Foreign Minister Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, received on Sunday Hans Grundberg, the newly appointed UN Special Envoy for Yemen, currently visiting the Sultanate, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the efforts exerted to achieve a full and permanent ceasefire from all parties in Yemen.

They also discussed easing the flow of humanitarian aid and entering a political process that fulfills aspirations of the brotherly Yemeni people towards peace, stability, national unity and reconstruction.
