Zionist settlers storm Al-Aqsa to celebrate Hebrew New Year

SANAA, Sept. 07 (YPA) – Dozens of settlers stormed, on Tuesday morning, the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, from the side of the Mughrabi Gate, under strict protection from the Zionist enemy police, who imposed strict measures on the entry and movement of Palestinians in the courtyards of Haram.

With the beginning of the Jewish holidays, the enemy police turned Old al-Quds into a military barracks and erected roadblocks on the roads leading to Al-Aqsa, and a contemporary of the occupation police deployed in Al-Aqsa Mosque and its doors, coinciding with the settlers’ incursions, and accompanied and protected the settlers during their storming and provocative tours.

The Endowments Department reported that dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa in their own biblical clothes, in the form of groups, and received explanations about the alleged “Temple”, and carried out provocative tours in its squares, and some of them performed Talmudic rituals at the Bab al-Rahma chapel and opposite the Dome of the Rock before they left the squares on the one hand. Series door.

The incursions came in celebration of the Hebrew New Year, which falls on Tuesday, and came in response to the calls of the alleged “Temple organizations” that demanded, through social media, to carry out mass incursions and perform Talmudic rites and biblical rites at Al-Aqsa during the festive period that continues during the month of September.

The settlers, headed by Rabbi Yehuda Glick, plan to perform individual prayers and carry out what is known as “epic prostration” inside Al-Aqsa in addition to blowing the trumpet from inside the mosque’s courtyards, knowing that they submitted a formal request to the Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, in order to allow them to blow the trumpet inside Al-Aqsa and establish Celebrations of the Hebrew New Year, on Tuesday, and on Wednesday, in the courtyards of the Holy Mosque.

The calls of the Temple organizations to carry out mass incursions into Al-Aqsa and to perform Talmudic rituals in its courtyards during the Jewish holidays, which began on Monday, continue for separate days until September 27.

In addition, Deputy Director General of the Al-Quds Endowments Sheikh Najeh Bakirat warned against the calls of the “Temple organizations” to intensify the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, coinciding with the Jewish holidays, calling for people to travel to it to protect it.

He said, “For the Jews to celebrate their holidays outside our mosque, it cannot be a stage for their actions, elections and votes, for Al-Aqsa is not divisible by two, and it is a right that is purely for Muslims alone.”

The Grand Mufti of Al-Quds and the Palestinian Territories, the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Muhammad Ahmed Hussein, called on the Palestinian people to travel to the mosque, and to tie in it, to miss the opportunity for those who want to storm it and attack it.

He considered these aggressive inciting calls that urge extremist settlers to desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque, with the protection of the occupation police, as a dangerous

He explained that what the occupied city of al-Quds is exposed to aims to completely Judaize it, divide Al-Aqsa temporally and spatially, change the landmarks of the Arab and Islamic city, and impose a new fait accompli that prevents Arabs and Muslims from reaching it.
