Yemeni military officer denies joining coalition forces

SANAA, June 9 (YPA) – A senior officer of Yemeni army denied on Saturday what has been reported by media of Saudi-led coalition that he joined Saudi-led coalition forces in the west coast in Hodeidah province.

Brigadier General Saleh Mayouf said in a statement to Yemen Press Agency that the news of his joining is a false fabrication, stressing his free national loyalty to the Yemeni people.

“I am stationed with many officers and individuals from battalions of the 133rd Brigade in Saada axis towards Najran to defend our land and our people from the US-Israeli-Saudi aggression and their mercenaries,” Mayouf said.

These fabrications by the brutal aggression forces came after the heavy losses incurred in the west coast battles this month.
