Security forces in Bayda seize 20 million counterfeit currency

BAYDA, Sept. 04 (YPA) – The Security forces in districts of Dhi Naim and Radaa of Bayda province, in separate operations since the beginning of this September, seized an amount of 20 million and 668 thousand riyals of counterfeit currency (class A), encoding the letter “D”, which was printed by the US-Saudi aggression recently with the aim of harming the national economy.

In the district of Dhi Naim, the province police seized an amount of 20 million riyals of counterfeit currency (class A), encoded by the letter “D”, in the possession of the 30-year-old called (M.S.A.M.A.).

In the Radaa district, the police of the district stated that in separate operations, an amount of 668 thousand riyals of counterfeit currency (class A), encoding the letter “D”, was seized, of which an amount of 230 thousand counterfeit riyals was in the possession of the so-called (K.A.NA)-24 years-, and an amount of 123 thousand counterfeit riyals in the possession of the so-called (A.M.A. A. A.) -44 years-, and an amount of 315,000 counterfeit riyals in the possession of the so-called (W. F. A. A.) -19 years old.

The seized amounts were referred to the competent authorities.
