2 soldiers killed by gunmen on motorcycle in Abyan

ABYAN, Sept. 01 (YPA) – Unidentified gunmen assassinated on Wednesday afternoon two soldiers at an army post in Lawdar District of Abyan province, southern Yemen.

Sources said that gunmen on a motorbike opened fire on two soldiers who were at the Al-Ain Loader Triangle point.

The sources added that the gunmen opened fire on the soldiers of the point, which resulted in the killing of two soldiers.

The gunmen fled on the bike to an unknown destination, while the sources suggested that the assassination gang belonged to the Southern Transitional Council of the Emirates.
