IRGC’s forces dismantle terrorist cell in western Iran

TEHRAN, Sept. 01 (YPA) – Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)’s forces  were able  to identify and dismantle a takfiri cell in Sarvabad, Kurdistan province, IRNA news agency, citing IRGC’s statement.

According to a statement by the Public Relations of IRGC’s Beitol Moghadas in Kurdistan province, a terrorist group entered the country  from the border of Iraqi Kurdistan with the intention of conducting acts of sabotage.

The IRGC’s forces clashed with the terrorists and killed and wounded many of them, in addition to seizing a considerable amount of equipment and ammunition during the operation, the statement added.

Kurdistan province has been  witnessing movements of terrorist cells that Iranian forces are constantly confronting.
