Dozens demand to expel Islah-affiliated officials in Lahj

LAHJ, Aug. 31 (YPA) – Dozens of citizens of Tur Al Baha of Lahj governorate, south of Yemen, gathered on Tuesday to demand the expulsion of a local official affiliated with Islah Party.

In a protest rally, the protesters accused the director of the district of Tur Al Baha, Abdul Raqib Al-Bukiri, of corruption, destroying basic services and doubling their suffering.

The participants chanted slogans calling for the departure of al-Bukiri.
