Protesters in Abyan demand exclusion of coalition forces

ABYAN, Aug. 28 (YPA) -Dozens of citizens demonstrated on Friday in Mudiyah district of Abyan province in southern Yemen, demanding the departure of Saudi-led coalition and expelling its forces from Yemeni islands and ports.

The protesters raised banners demanding the departure of the coalition forces  from Yemeni territory and handing over the  economic facilities such as  ports and airports.

They also chanted slogans against the government corruption and the economic war pursued by the coalition countries against the country, which led to the deterioration of the Yemeni riyal exchange rate against the foreign currencies.

The protesters denounced the coalition’s continued salary cuts for nearly eight months and vowed to step up against the coalition’s starvation policy.

They accused Hadi’s government and the coalition of fueling conflicts between Yemenis and southern provinces, to plunder Yemen’s various resources.

The protesters called on all free people in the southern provinces for angry protests to put an end to the coalition’s actions and expose those who carry out the agendas of chaos.
