STC warns Islah militants of fueling the conflict among Shabwa tribes

SANAA, Aug. 23 (YPA) – The UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias warned on Monday the Saudi-backed authorities in Shabwa province against fueling the conflict among the tribes of the province.

Deputy Secretary-General of the STC, Fadhl Al-Jaadi, said on Twitter: “Shabwa tribes should be drawn into fighting under any reason,” adding, “The former regime practiced a policy of stoking rebellions to weaken Shabwa’s national role.”

Al-Jaadi pointed out that Islah Party has practiced the same previous practices in fueling strife and conflicts between tribesmen to take control of the province.
