TAIZ, Aug. 21 (YPA) – Dozens of citizens on Saturday took to the streets in Taiz city, southwest Yemen, in an angry demonstration calling for the expulsion of criminal gangs affiliated with Islah Party loyal to Saudi-led coalition in the city.
The demonstrators roamed the city’s streets demanded an end to the attacks and murders that affect citizens in the city and that the military and security Islah leaders involved in human rights violations be held accountable.
This came in the first event launched by the so-called “People’s Movement to Save Taiz”, “It is enough.”
The protestors raised banners condemning the security chaos, chanting slogans demanding the departure of the military and security Islah leaders and criminal gangs from the city.
