Two women killed in Indiana shooting

SANAA. Aug. 19 (YPA) – At least two women were killed on Wednesday after a gunman opened fire a central Indiana automotive plant, US authorities said.

Clinton County Sheriff’s Office reported that the shooting occurred at around 4:15 p.m., in a parking lot at a car factory, the Associated Press reported.

Sheriff Rich Kelly told reporters told reporters that the suspected shooter fled the scene in a blue Ford, but police arrested him shortly afterwards and remained in custody.

He said the victims and the alleged shooter were factory employees, but did not have further details.

“We were able to stop him in probably 45 seconds to a minute from leaving the facility,” he added. No one was injured in the shooting near the area.
