Bahrain’s ambassador to Washington describes Palestinians as “terrorists”
WASHINGTON, Aug. 15 (YPA) – Bahrain’s ambassador to the United States, Abdullah Rashid Al-Khalifa, has described the Palestinians as “terrorists” who fired thousands of rockets at the Israeli entity, during the last Gaza war last May, which lasted 11 days.
The ambassador said the “Abraham Accords” helped end the recent Gaza war and mitigate the damage caused by the fighting.
“We saw a real reflection of how peace agreements were achieved,” he added, according to “The Times of Israel” newspaper.
Al-Khalifa noted that establishing diplomatic relations with the Zionist entity created another avenue for communication that can be used to reduce conflict and escalation when there is a flash point.
The newspaper pointed out that the ambassador did not mention how Bahrain, or any of the “Abraham Agreement” countries contributed directly to ending the fighting, or mitigating its damage.
