SANAA, Aug. 10 (YPA) – The latest announced global statistics on the “Corona” pandemic on Tuesday indicated that the number of deaths due to infection with the virus reached four million and about 317,000 deaths, while the total number of infections reached 204 million and more than 158,000 injuries, of whom 183 million and more than three million people recovered and 352 thousand patients.
The Corona pandemic continues to spread in 220 countries, territories and regions around the world, and the countries of the world recorded 526 thousand and 474 new infections on Monday and the pandemic caused 8,082 deaths during the last 24 hours.
Statistics showed that the five countries that recorded the highest number of deaths within a single day in the world on Monday were: Indonesia (1,475 deaths), Russia (796 deaths), Iran (588 deaths), Argentina (502 deaths), and India (376 deaths).
