Human Rights in Taiz condemns coalition crimes committed in Taiz

TAIZ, Aug. 09 (YPA) – The Office of the Human Rights in Taiz province condemned on Monday all violations, crimes and kidnappings being committed by the Saudi-led coalition and its militants against civilians in the city of Taiz.

The office said in a statement that the areas controlled by the militants of aggression coalition have become the scene of killings, kidnappings and torture of civilians without trial, expressing concern over the deterioration of the human rights situation in those areas.

The statement stressed that these crimes against civilians are war crimes in accordance with international human rights law and humanitarian law.

The statement urged all international and local human rights organizations to assume their humanitarian responsibility, document these crimes and work to limit the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the city of Taiz.
