Girl injured in armed clashes in central Taiz

TAIZ, Aug. 09 (YPA) – A 19-year-old girl was shot and injured as a result of armed clashes between gangs of Islah Party militia in Taiz city, southwest Yemen, local sources reported on Monday.

The sources confirmed that the girl was shot in the chest, and her condition was very serious.

Citizens rushed to rescue the girl and transferred her to Al-Thawra General Hospital, while her condition was not known until the moment of writing the news, the sources added.
