3 missiles hit Kandahar airport in southern Afghanistan

KANDAHAR, Aug. 01 (YPA) – At least three rockets hit Kandahar airport in southern Afghanistan on Sunday morning.

This came at a time when the “Taliban” movement continues its comprehensive attack throughout the country.

“Last night, three missiles were fired at the airport, and two of them landed on the runway,” the airport’s director, Masoud Pashtun, told AFP.

As a result of that, all flights from the airport were canceled, Pashtun added.
