OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jul. 31 (YPA) – At least 40 Palestinians were injured in clashes that erupted on Friday with Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, “Palestine Today” news agency reported.
In turn, medical sources in Nablus reported that two civilians were wounded by live bullets in the foot, while 35 others suffocated with tear gas during the clashes that erupted in the town.
The town of Beita has been witnessing continuous confrontations between the rebellious youth and the occupation forces, in an attempt to end the presence of the settlement outpost in the town.
On the other hand, dozens of Palestinians suffocated with tear gas, during the Israeli occupation forces’ suppression of the weekly Kafr Qaddum march, east of Qalqilya.
Local sources reported that the Israeli soldiers stormed the town before the march began, set up ambushes in abandoned houses, and attacked the marchers by firing rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters, causing dozens of suffocation.
This week’s Kafr Qaddoum march took place with the participation of hundreds of townspeople in protest against the crimes of the occupation against Palestinian people in Quds, Beit Ummar, Beita and the northern Jordan Valley.
