4 footballers killed in car bomb attack in Somalia

MOGADISHU, Jul. 30 (YPA) – At least four soccer players were killed in a car bomb attack targeted their bus in Kismayo city of Somalia, the official Somali News Agency reported Friday.

According to the agency, the car bomb exploded in the coastal city of Kismayo targeting the bus of the “JCCI” team players.

The JCCI players were on their way to the football stadium, where Vice President of Jubbaland was scheduled to open a competition between the city’s clubs on social inclusion, the agency explained.
