Palestinian youths burn pole mounted surveillance cameras in Silwan

QUDS, Jul. 29 (YPA) – Palestinian youths on Wednesday, burned a pole mounted with surveillance cameras used by the Israeli occupation to monitor citizens in the Bir Ayoub neighborhood in Silwan, the occupied city of al-Quds.

“A number of Israeli soldiers stormed the homes of citizens in the Bir Ayoub neighborhood after the burning of the camera pole,” the Palestine Today news agency quoted eyewitnesses as saying.

The occupying forces install surveillance cameras in many streets, near citizens’ homes and on high towers in several areas of the West Bank, with the aim of restricting citizens and preventing them from carrying out their daily lives.
