Zionist entity appoints first ambassador to UAE
OCCUPIED QUDS, Jul. 25 (YPA) – Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid announced on Sunday the appointment of Amir Hayek, head of the Hotel Association in the occupied Palestine, as ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Hayek became officially the first ambassador of the Zionist occupation in the UAE after the signing of a peace agreement between the two sides in mid-September last year.
“I am pleased to appoint Amir Hayek as Israel’s ambassador to the UAE,” Lapid said in a tweet on Twitter.
“Hayek, who is rich in experience and knowledge in the fields of economy and tourism, is the right man to consolidate relations between Israel and the UAE, ” Lapid added.
He continued, “After the opening of the embassy, it is time to appoint the first ambassador to the UAE. Good luck, Amir.”
