2 killed, 4 injured in overnight shooting in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Jul. 18 (YPA) – Two people were killed and four others were injured in Sacramento, California, Police said.

“The incident occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday, and several firearms were found at the scene,” a police statement said.

Two people, who police said were both men, were pronounced dead at the scene. Four other people were said to have non-life-threatening injuries.

While the motive for the shooting was unknown, investigators believe there was some type of altercation before the shooting and this was not an active shooter situation.
