SANAA, Jul. 14 (YPA) – The Saudi-backed exiled Hadi government accused on Wednesday the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) of backing away from implementing the “Riyadh Agreement.
The government said, in a statement, that the “STC” disrupted the governmental tasks to be implemented, indicating that the STC militias obstructed its return to the city of Aden.
According to the statement, the government team made serious and responsible proposals would prepare for its return and provide a safe environment to work freely and independently, but the STC rejected and escalated against the agreement.
The statement revealed a direct interference by the “STC” in the government’s tasks, issuing violating decisions, continuing to disrupt state institutions, imposing de-facto authority, and fabricating reasons for holding demonstrations in Shabwa and Abyan.
