8 people killed, injured in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Jul. 10 (YPA) – Three people, including an officer, were killed and others were injured in armed clashes in Wadi Hadramawt, days after demonstrations by the STC militia.

Local sources reported that the killing of an officer and a soldier and the injury of 5 others in the ranks of the Islah militia during confrontations with gunmen in the city of Sayun.

The death toll on the other side was not known, which Al-Islah militia media described as an “armed gang.”

A citizen named Abdulaziz Al-Qathmi was killed and two of his relatives were injured in an armed attack targeting their gathering near Qidoun Stadium in Doan District.
