WEST BANK, Jul. 08 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces blew up the house of Palestinian prisoner Montaser Shalabi in the town of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.
A large force of the occupying Army, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed the town and surrounded the house, forcing citizens living near the house to evacuate their homes in preparation for its demolition.
Clashes broke out in the vicinity of the house of the prisoner Shalabi, during which the occupying forces fired tear gas at Palestinians, without reporting any injuries.
Shalabi, 44, was arrested by Israeli occupation forces while in the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, on May 6th, and the Israeli occupation court on June 23rd rejected a petition by The Family of Prisoner Shalabi to stop the decision to demolish her house and approved the demolition.
