Red Sea Ports Corporation: Coalition attack on UN boat is serious indicator

HODEIDAH, June 5 (YPA) – Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation considered Saudi-led coalition forces’ attack on the VOS THEIA boat of the United Nations a serious indicator in violation of maritime conventions and international norms and laws.

In a statement issued on Monday, the corporation said the attack on the UN’s boat, which works in the transfer of humanitarian and relief aid regularly from Djibouti port to Hodeidah port, a new crime added to the coalition forces’ crimes.

It criticized the silence of the United Nation and international community towards such crime.

The attack on the UN boat comes in coinciding with the visit of the special envoy of the UN Secretary-General to Yemen, Martin Griffith, to the capital Sanaa.
