SANAA, Jun. 25 (YPA) – Employees of Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) have condemned the UN’s position, aligned with Saudi-led coalition forces, which has overthrown what is left of human rights.
This came during a protest held on Friday in front of the UN headquarters in Sana’a entitled “ The UN bias in favor of coalition, erases what is left of human rights. ”
At the protest, the YPC’s employees confirmed that they would continue to organize protests until all oil vessels held by the coalition are released and their rights are met.
The statement issued by the vigil condemned the UN silence and the continued disregard of the United Nations in the face of what is happening by the coalition aggression, which makes it a partner in the siege on the Yemeni people.
It called on the United Nations to carry out its humanitarian and legal duty and release all detained oil vessels and ensure that they are not detained in the future.
The statement reiterated the demand for lifting the embargo on Sana’a International Airport and Ras Issa facilities, and neutralizing the Yemeni Petroleum company, its facilities, stations and its agents from targeting.
