Yemeni Air Force conducts drone strike on King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushit

SANAA, Jun. 25 (YPA) – The Yemeni Armed Forces have on Friday carried out a new drone attack on  King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushit in the Asir region, southwestern Saudi Arabia, the Yemeni army spokesman said in a statement.

Army spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, confirmed that  one “Qasef-2K drone” was used in the attack and the target was hit successfully.

The spokesman affirmed that that  the attack comes in the course of the Yemen’s natural and legitimate right to respond to the escalation of aggression and its continued blockade against Yemen.

On late Thursday, “The air force launched an operation targeting the command center, training sites, mobilization sectors and other locations inside the camp in al-Wadea area with 10 Qasef-2K  drones.
