STC mobilizes its supporters for uprising in Shabwa

SHABWA, Jun. 20 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias mobilized its supporters for breaking out a local uprising into Shabwa province.

According to sources, local leaders of the STC announced the date of the local uprising against Islah Party’s authorities in the province.

The STC’s Preparatory Committee approved the holding of a mass event in the city of Abadan, Nisab district, coming week, in protest against the continued violations by Islah militants against citizens in Shabwa.

The committee called on the sons of the province to actively participate in a protest rally to reject what called the terrorist practices of the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Islah authorities.
