Report: Heavy losses inflicted on Saudi army in cross-border fronts in May
SANAA, June 4 (YPA) –Dozens of Saudi soldiers and militants loyal to them were killed and many others injured in failed infiltration carried out by Saudi army in Jizan region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Monday.
The Yemeni army foiled infiltrations of Saudi troops toward Dukhan Mountain, which led killing and injuring dozens of Saudi soldiers and militias, capturing many others and destroying a Saudi tank and a military vehicle belonging to them.
The army also repelled a wide-scale infiltration of Saudi army and its militias lasted for hours toward the east of al-Shabaka Mountain off Khoba area in the same region, according to the official.
The confrontations resulted in several dead and wounded in ranks of the Saudi army and its militias.
Anasr Allah Media Center published on Sunday statistics on the Saudi army’s losses on the beyond border fronts in May.
The statistics said that 136 Saudi military vehicles, including three Abrams tanks, four tanks of other types, 15 armored, and 117 various vehicles were destroyed.
