Saudi Arabia doubles suffering of Yemeni expatriates with new terms

SANAA, Jun. 17 (YPA) – Saudi authorities have imposed new conditions on Yemenis entering its territory, compounding the complexities for thousands of expatriates trapped inside Yemen.

In an urgent alert to all passengers travelling to Saudi Arabia, Air Yemen said it must register for the “Resident” platform as a condition for their admission to flights from Aden and Sieyun airports from Wednesday.

According to instructions from the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority, the passengers arriving in the kingdom, whether Jeddah or Riyadh, will not be  accepted unless they have completed the registration of their data at the site, a report said.

Saudi Arabia has required people from Yemen to receive coronavirus vaccines, which requires about three months to wait.
