President stresses strengthening military doctrine of army personnel 

SANAA, June 3 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Sunday stressed the importance of enhancing and strengthening the military doctrine of the army personnel.

This came in the president’s speech he delivered during attending a conclusion ceremony of the Martyr President Saleh al-Sammad Workshop, which was organized by Defense Ministry for a number of military commanders.

“The bad education has made many of those who raised the slogans of the Republic fall into in the aggression arms to fight their countrymen and under false slogans,” the president said.

The president underlined the big responsibilities of the Defense Ministry to restore the army’s self-confidence, to raise the moral of soldiers and improve the level of performance.

Al-Mashat emphasized the pioneering role of the national defense institution in defending the national sovereignty against all risks and challenges facing the homeland in the light of the brutal aggression led by Saudi Arabia and its allies on the country.

He called on all Yemeni people to support the fronts and enhance the role of the army and popular committees’ fighters, stressing the need to continue mobilization for the fronts to deter the aggressive invaders.

“We will not race for positions, but to make the current year a ballistic year as the martyred president promised,” the president said.

He confirmed that the project “A hand builds and another protects”, which was launched by the martyr president, will be translated into reality by the heroes of the army.
